CU2Expo is being hosted by Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario) from May 26th to 29th, 2015. This unique conference brings together community and academic partners to share collaborative projects and ongoing efforts around community-campus collaborations. The conference will include innovative presentation and workshop styles (including real-time workshops, skill building sessions, roundtables, theatre and storytelling, sharing circles and world cafés) that invite engagement and dialogue around issues of relevance to our respective communities. Pre-conference workshops will be held by  Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH), the Canadian Alliance for Community Service Learning (CACSL) and Volunteer Canada, the Institute for Community Engaged Scholarship (ICES), and Community-Based Research Canada (CBRC).

Proposals are due November 28th, 2014; submit your abstract at

The challenge of tenure and promotion procedures should not be permitted to unduly limit the growth of the movement for community-university engagement in Canada. A dialogue for action on this issue should be launched and sustained until this obstacle is permanently removed.*
